Proof of Following Safe Working Practices

As you can see in the photo, I was using my camera and making sure I followed all the safety precautions that I needed. An example of this is I am making sure I am aware of where the light is so I don't hurt myself whilst filming. I am also aware of the fact that there is a knife involved and I am aware of where the knife is at all times and who is using it and making that they are holding it safely and not just throwing it around.

How did it go as a group?
The practice recording went well as a group. We were missing our Director therefore, the 1AD stepped in and took charge of the group. The first thing that went well is the fact that everyone cooperated as a group and there was no arguing. The second thing that went well was the fact that everyone set the stuff up which they needed to fulfil their role in the group. The fact that we all worked well as a group means that when we come to filming the real thing, everyone will know what they need to to to setup, and they will do it safely and efficiently.

How did you individually carry out your role?
I individually carried out my role by working with the 1AD and Director of Photography (DoP) to set up the camera and lighting in the right places to match what is on the storyboards and to make sure the shot looked as good as possible. This meant switching between having the camera on the Tripod and on the Shoulder Mount.

What can you do both individually and as a group before Tuesday to ensure the shoot is a success?
Individually I could work on switching between the Tripod and Shoulder Mount more efficiently and making sure I have got it all ready for the next shoot so I don't hold up the shooting time. As a group, we could improve on listening to who is in charge rather than talking over him and not getting anything done. This is down to the Director and 1AD to ensure they are being listened to on set.
